Even though I have access to the lower levels of the D'Astae camp, today I got quest xp from the gate guards again:

Quote:
A D'Astae guard nods at you.
A D'Astae guard says to you 'My cousin is well, thank you.'
You gain some worthwhile experience.
A D'Astae guard says to you 'Head on in.'
A D'Astae guard unlocks a gate.
A D'Astae guard opens a gate.

After which some of the villagers started acting hostile towards us (both of the characters with me have also done the quest):

You walk southeast.

Gaal'Taan Way
This street is fairly bustling with activity. Stray animals wander to
and fro, and the gravel of the street is pushed aside in well-traveled ruts.
To the northwest, a farrier's shop is seen, the clear sign of a
centaur shoe hanging from a post above the door. The building itself is
constructed of wooden logs, and the doorway has no door to speak of, though
it looks like a skin flap might hold the wind out on harsher days. The cold
wind blows through the street; northern storms promise to arrive.
It's partly cloudy, cold, and very, very windy.

Overall, a painted aru guard has a few scratches.

Something similar also happened yesterday with another character who had just completed the quest to gain entrance to the village.

It's possibly one of the buggiest areas in the game. Keeps getting 'fixed', and keeps breaking in different ways each time. I think one script breaks the other. Also, it is impossible to access certain NPCs nowdays, due to the fact that the items needed for the quest do not load properly. Or last time they did, they didn't work.

It worked just fine in the past. Pity too, it's a really nice place.

That would be because I was recently modifying the Aanu quest in preparation for changes to the quest system. The NPCs should not be aggro anymore if you completed the quest. If you have further concerns about this quest, you should email me directly.

Also, I am now familiar with most of the quests in the area, so if you think some required items are not loading, email me about that too.
