This is in the newb school, Taslamar: Code: You strike suddenly, stabbing at a young paladin's chest! Some GUTS fall!
A young paladin is incapacitated and will slowly die, if not aided. [HP: 85%] [ME:100%] [PE: 34%] A young paladin leaps backwards, nearly stumbling over himself to avoid a blow of yours. [HP: 85%] [ME:100%] [PE: 34%] > You stab a young paladin's stomach, puncturing a hole through her stomach! The invigilators summon your defeated opponent away to the healers! The invigilators reward you for your efforts. |

Was there a tick from when it was incap to when it jumped? |

Nah its just a scripted action. What I find more buggy is that NPCs can dodge dirt while stunned. |

It may be a bug from a script, but I don't think it's worth the time to be looking into. |

It's just a room echo. I guess it doesn't check the NPC's position before it fires. It could be fixed easily enough, but it has nothing more than occasional visual impact on gameplay, so as Cyra says, it's probably not worth pursuing. Steel hides on the practice NPCs is a bigger issue (and as easy if not easier to fix) |

aha - yes, that would certainly be the reason why that place is so tough compared to what it was on my first visit there. |

Last time I went there the NPCs had steel skins, which didn't help with wooden daggers. |

They still do... the first couple of fights leave you picking you sorry arse off the floor. After EVERY fight you need to use the outfit command, sometimes twice in one fight, cos the daggers just break constantly... Two people complained to me at how tough it was and I though, 'yeah whatever', but it really is hard now. Even buying a sword doesn't help, they get broke within a fight or two... |

(If you ever hosted a netparty for angry teenagers, that statement will mean something very special to you...[REDACTED] end-user stupid kids...) JeanV What ya talkin' about? We are just chit chatting about the area... I am not asking for anything to be *fixed*. This just lead on from the actual thing I noticed. I made it out of the newb place in a couple of hours and I am just commenting on the fact it is much tougher than it used to be. --and no, never done such a thing for any teenagers, angry or otherwise. |
