[HP:100%] [ME: 69%] [PE: 78%]
Your head butt scratches a male deep-elf.
A male deep-elf is knocked unconscious from the force of your blow!

[HP:100%] [ME: 69%] [PE: 77%] (round 1)

You cleave a male deep-elf's head, tearing open a bleeding wound!
You strike suddenly, cleaving at a male deep-elf's chest! Some GUTS fall!
You cleave a male deep-elf's mouth, knocking out a few of his teeth!
A bumble bee screams and attacks!
You dodge a male deep-elf's attack.
Overall, a male deep-elf has some big nasty wounds and scratches.

[HP:100%] [ME: 70%] [PE: 77%] (round 2)

You strike suddenly, cleaving at a male deep-elf's chest! Some GUTS fall!
You cleave a male deep-elf's mouth, knocking out a few of his teeth!
You cleave a male deep-elf's chest HARD, cutting through his ribs!
A bumble bee screams and attacks!
A male deep-elf misses you. <--- He's up
Overall, a male deep-elf looks pretty hurt.

[HP:100%] [ME: 70%] [PE: 76%]

A male deep-elf dodges your attack. <---and dodging
A male deep-elf dodges your attack.
You cleave a male deep-elf's jaw, breaking it with a loud *SNAP*
A bumble bee screams and attacks!
You dodge a male deep-elf's attack.
Overall, a male deep-elf looks pretty hurt.

Is this a bug? Maybe headbutt should be included in this:

Actually he was up and swinging immediately, it says you dodge a male deep-elf's attack at the bottom of the first round.

Perhaps the new affects code was the cause of this?

Your just too old. Your headbutt's don't work like they once did, dusty.

Actually, it looks like a tick happened right after you headbutted the deep-elf.

If you're in the area that I think you're in, the most plausible explanation is that another deep-elf spawned in that tick, and since they're aggro, immediately attacked you, making it seem as if the original deep-elf was still fighting you.

Did you happen to kill two deep-elves afterwards?

I haven't played a barbarian before, but has headbutt usually lasted only one tick?

If so, then perhaps it was one of the skills that was overlooked in the recent code change.

It does appear that head butt was overlooked in the recent change. I think the guy just unstunned as soon as the tick happened. Nothing more complicated than that.
