I guess this is happening because I am flying, but... I am mounted on an atyrros at the time.

Quote:
(Charmed) (White Aura) A midnight-blue atyrros is here mounted by you.

A midnight-blue atyrros starts to fly.

Ok.

Is there a check in the game if a player is flying then they can not mount?
And if they are mounted, they can not fly, lest they fly right off their mount. Would get around this paradox. Casting flight on someone on a mount should have no additional affect.

This in turn can lead to code which checks to see if your mount is flying, to give you as a character the affect of flight...

.. which reminds me of that area bug people were complaining about. I think this kind of fix would be a bit easier than tackling script code?

One other mount 'bug' - If you are mounted, and you attempt to go in a direction and your mount can not follow (out of movement, exit to small, etc,) intsead of 'You leave your mount behind,' (particularly if you'd fall
off!?) you would get instead 'Your <mount> is unable to go that way.'
I've just seen way too much of 'where'd my horse go?' I think it should be made a lot clearer, and that players have a bit more control of it.
