Post subject:  Dimensional pockets

This one is sort of hard to describe - but on certain NPCs that have deathrot items, where a character HAS to stun/take the item from the NPC to retrieve the item (some examples are Cain Techt golem, seawatch knights) with out it rotting, there are situations where the NPC will remove this item for a "better strategy". At this point, the item is gone - bye bye, once the NPC is stunned, there's no way to retrieve the item. Here's an example.

A certain NPC has a script that fires off if you enter the room with it.

ex:
A pale green-skinned siren exclaims to you 'Now tgat you've come to me, I'm not ldtting zou go!'
A pale green-skinned siren walks to you and puts her arms around you.
A pale green-skinned siren whispers something into your ears quietly.
A pale green-skinned siren glows with mystical energy!
You disband the group.
Isn't a pale green-skinned siren just so nice?
You now follow a pale green-skinned siren.
A pale green-skinned siren says 'I'll let you go once I get bored witi you.'
A pale green-skinned siren moves herself to position (22:M2).

So, round 2 - I attempt to engage it in range.
Quote:
You spot your target to the north!
You fire a mossy mithril warbow to the north!
You are no longer invisible.
You slash at a pale green-skinned siren's chest, barely scratching her.
You load your weapon with an exotic diamond-tipped arrow.
An exotic diamond-tipped arrow streaks into you from the north!
A pale green-skinned siren slashes at your chest, barely scratching you.
( 81%)(100%)( 80%)3 platinum, 2 gold, 7 silver - 7am
You stop using a mossy mithril warbow.
You stop firing.

( 81%)(100%)( 80%)3 platinum, 2 gold, 7 silver - 7am
You wield a barbed spear with an ebon shaft in your hand.
A barbed spear with an ebon shaft feels like a part of you!
A pale green-skinned siren pounds a komodo dragon's forehead, causing a small gash.
( 81%)(100%)( 80%)3 platinum, 2 gold, 7 silver - 7am

A pale green-skinned siren leaps over a komodo dragon's attempted trip!
A komodo dragon misses a pale green-skinned siren.
A komodo dragon bites at a pale green-skinned siren's left toe, cutting it slightly.
A pale green-skinned siren stops using A WEAPON I WAS TRYING TO RETRIEVE.
A pale green-skinned siren punches at a komodo dragon's chest, barely wounding it.
A pale green-skinned siren punches at a komodo dragon's chest, barely wounding it.
( 81%)(100%)( 80%)3 platinum, 2 gold, 7 silver - 7a

After beating it, I try to acquire the said weapon.

This is a test with no npcs between me and target:
Quote:

A pale green-skinned siren stops using a WEAPON I WAS TRYING TO RETRIEVE.
A pale green-skinned siren punches at your stomach, opening a painful, bleeding wound!
A pale green-skinned siren punches at your right arm, tearing open a big bleeding wound!
You pierce at a pale green-skinned siren's chest, causing a deep gash.
You pierce at a pale green-skinned siren's chest, causing a deep gash.

At the end of this test, I did find the weapon on the corpse, but as I was informed that it deathrots, that...kinda doesn't help me. but on stun, it definitely disappears.

edit:
Quote:
The finger of a pale green-skinned siren decomposes.
A WEAPON I WAS TRYING TO RETRIEVE crumbles into dust.

Well, it DOES deathrot.

I noticed this last night after the update. It's already fixed for next reboot.
