A grizzled warlock utters the words, 'gszabra ay yauhp'.
A dim spear of darkness appears in a grizzled warlock's hand!
A grizzled warlock brings forth a dim spear of darkness from his hand!
A grizzled warlock tosses his glowing spear, and you reel from its awful bite.

one of two things needs to happen here. Either these grizzled warlocks need to be redesc'd as "grizzled priests" or they need to be made actually warlocks instead of priests as they currently are.

What I know of there are no warlock and shaman NPCs in the game for some reason. They are all either yed or Nashiran priests. I don't know the reason.

The arots in the temple of murder were at one point in time shamans. I remember once their scripts were broken or something and they had spirit aura and were making medicine belts in combat. That was a few years ago though.

Warlock and Shaman NPCs would tickle me.

Magma and Voodoo for the lose.

I would <3 a charmable GM shaman NPC w/ all of my e-pen0r.

It would need to be able to voodoo, raise dead, control weather and brew of course.

Or, maybe you should stop being such a metagamer and accept that the title 'warlock' might actualy be given to a priest! :P

Theres no rule that A wizard can't also be a mercenary, or that a barbarian can't be a knight. The only rule I can think of is that a Paladin cannot be a rogue, but I've seen cases where even that can stand. The only place those limitations exist is from being used at thinking outside the RP box, such as 'X said bash the door down, so that must mean I need to have a skill called bash on my character sheet' etc.

Oh well, such will happen in a roleplaying game where the GM is not always watching over the players.

Just my two copper on the matter :P
