You utter the words, 'hzrzsafh'.
You fall to the ground!
You lose your concentration on detect hidden.
You feel less aware of your surroundings.
You lose your concentration on detect invis.
You no longer see invisible objects.
You lose your concentration on fly.
You are mortally wounded, and will die soon, if not aided.
You can't see anything but stars!

I've been at "mortally wounded" now for 40 ticks. FOURTY TICKS. I am not sure if your intent is to torture and punish those who play this game, but thats what is happening. There has got to be a better way than making me sit here for I don't even know how long it has been now. I love this game, but for the love of god there are way to many things in the game that force you to spend way to much of your life doing nothing. I don't mean to [REDACTED], but I just find it very very discouraging when the game will not even let me log off because I am mortally wounded. I'm not sure this is intentional which is why I posted it in the bug forums...But if this IS what you intend mortally wounded to do, then by all means move this to the gameplay discussion so that we can get it changed.

(46 ticks now...gg)

*edit*

Whoever the IMM was who had mercy on me and helped me, THANK YOU

The game normally kills you at the mortally wounded state, at least I am pretty sure that Dulrik already fixed that some time ago. I am sorry that you had to go through it as am I also sure that you realize that it was not something 'programmed to ruin your game experience or punish you'.

It is not intentional, it's a known (sorta) and too old a bug, that is difficult to detect since you cannot reproduce it.

It has happened to me as well twice in my many years.
One time I was stunned for about 20 mins at -8% and the next time I was stunned for 1.5hours at -4. Both times I prayed again and again, but unfortunately for me there was no imm around (yeah i play at the low hours).

Both times I recovered. The second time I recovered at 0% with my head severed :o

At any rate. Best thing to do is pray repeatedly, every 5-10 mins or so. If an imm is in the editor, he will miss your pray till he gets out of the editor.

hehe, you people respond to Terrus as if he was a newbie. That's funny.

Edit: Did you teleport in an area which you had to have flight that was also magically warded? I see you had flight and all but for some odd reason after the teleport all your spells dropped.

It's an old name, newer players probably won't recognize it. :P

I am a newbie. And I was mounted when I teleported. I had fly cast on my mount, which is why I took falling dmg from the teleport...I guess teleport is altitude sensitive as well. I released all my spells cause I was "stunned"

It's not intentional. You are the first person I've heard having a problem with this since my last attempted fix over a year ago.

kk, I apologize for my tone in the original post I was crabby and tired. If you want a log I can supply you with one. I managed to recreate this problem twice, once from falling off my mount and once from casting hamrful spells on myself. Just let me know.
