The newbie backpacks you are given at creation are size medium even if your race is a different size.

still hasn't been fixed...


It really only seems to be a problem for sprites though...

giants too... but more for sprites who can be hampered by extra weight and space taken up in their inventory.

More importantly, the backpack you are given at creation holds like a few coins, a tinderbox, and five pieces of bread.

Would it really break the game to up the size just a bit?
