Quote: A white obsidian straight dagger (brand new), a medium obsidian dagger, for 7 platinum, 1 gold, 7 silver, 5 copper. Quote: A long, thin blade -twice the size of the hilt- has been forged from
white obsidian. A thin hand guard and a long oak hilt gives the weapon a cross-like shape. This push knife is a medium-sized dagger made of obsidian. Is this intended? |

Actually, I'm slightly confused. There is a type of weapon called "push knife": HELP WEAPON wrote: dagger
- dagger, skinning knife, tanto, hunting knife, push-knife, - throwing dagger, sai, curved dagger, straight dagger, khukri What's the issue, then? [edit: ah, I see now - the "straight dagger" type is mentioned earlier. Ignore my question] PS: Special thanks to those who are making a thread in the BUG forum decidedly UN-helpful. *smack* |

Just checked the item's details - the answer is: The two descriptive fields both contain "straight dagger", however the actual weapon-type field contains 'push-knife'. The last line of the description for all objects is actually code-generated, rather than text from whoever wrote the description for the object. Thus, that line reveals the actual weapon-type value that is in use 'behind-the-scenes', as it were. Only the original builder can comment whether the difference was an intentional deception. Such differences are not unheard of, but rarely are they in such direct conflict. |

Now that i've learned up fouth attack and eparry there, can we get a wimp on the taslamaran collegium trainers? You aren't suppose to be able to learn fourth attack and eparry for 3 gold. Beckmans prices of 9 gold are far more legit for some of the most advance combat abilities u can ever learn. |
