Post subject: | Riposte and Spirit Aura? |
This is from an old log and I haven't tested it or anything since, but I'm pretty sure this isn't supposed to happen, riposte attacks seem to go through spirit aura, meaning the person riposte-ing(?) doesn't get damaged, and it seems like the shaman doesn't get any damage reduction from the attacks either. Your ancestral spirits rain curses upon Eamani as she charges you. Eamani cleaves your left ankle, cutting a small wound. Your ancestral spirits rain curses upon Eamani as she charges you. Eamani slices your right ankle, cutting a small wound. You dodge Eamani's attack. Your ancestral spirits rain curses upon Eamani as she charges you. Eamani cleaves at your left leg, causing a sore wound. Eamani ripostes your attack! Eamani cleaves your stomach, cutting a deep gash. Eamani ripostes your attack! Eamani slices at your right leg, tearing open a bleeding wound! Overall, Eamani has quite a few wounds. <Health 77> <Spirit Power!!! 72> <Energy 86>You start to concentrate. |

Kick, bash, trip, riposte, basically any attack that isn't a normal attack goes right through spirit aura. |

Yes, but riposte is really just another regular attack, isn't it? That does make sense though, even if I don't like it, thanks. |

There are a lot of things that spirit aura does not protect you from. It probably does not count it since a riposte is an attack that can only be made from a successful parry. It probably still counts it as the shaman's attack. |
