Yeah, this needs to be undone. Seriously. Size should not play a factor into backstab. Excerpts: 600+ hp centaur priest with sanctuary up: [HP:100%] [ME: 87%] [PE: 94%] > A thick-fingered male halfling utters the words, 'faerie fog'. A thick-fingered male halfling conjures a cloud of purple smoke. You are no longer invisible. Suddenly a busty female half-elf stabs you in the back! That really did HURT! Your chest is ripped apart from massive damage! A busty female half-elf's second backstab does UNSPEAKABLE THINGS to you! The white aura around your body fades. You have been KILLED!! You slowly float to the ground. [HP: 0%] [ME: 89%] [PE:100%] and a hp trained, gm merc with full adamantite: You yell 'Guards! A brown-haired female elf is trying to murder me!' Suddenly a brown-haired female elf stabs you in the back! That really did HURT! A brown-haired female elf's second backstab devastates you. That really did HURT! You are coughing up BLOOD! [HP: 19%] [ME:100%] [PE:100%] I'm 100% positive this -was not intended-. Way to go power-twinking this one, guys. I was pretty amazed when this happened, I kinda just sat there going "i can't believe I didn't think of that". I didn't think size giant would affect backstab the way it does the rest of melee. If Dulrik intended giants to be rogues, he'd let them. |

Hey where tactics and role play collide. I'd say thats a pretty sick tactic. |

Oh my god dude, this is so old, if someone takes the time to prepare their rogue, they should be able to kill a priest with [REDACTED] HP and prolly no spellups besides sanc. You weren't complaining when Naji was backstab killing all the harlies when you were in MC, how do you think he backstab killed people? |

I didn't know it was through giant-size, even if he did. Regardless. It needs to be fixed. It's stupidly overpowered. |

Charge/cleave/backstab/counterstrike all those skills are helped by alot of different buffs. |

Size shouldn't play a role in preperation for a rogue. Well, unless the rogue would want to get smaller, then I would understand. |

Meh... It isn't always available to the rogue. A situation when you can even BS a person is also not always available. It also requires GS and you're boned if that runs out while you're still enlarged. I think if you're prepped enough to use it you deserve the chance of insta-killing someone, provided they aren't utilizing one of the many safeguards to backstabbing out there. |

It's fine. Weapon damage is greatly enhanced by several spells, and also players tend to be smarter nowadays and know they need to enchant their weapons a lot more than the old standar of 5/5. For big opening attacks especially(backstab, cleave etc), a 9/9 weapon or even more makes these skills quite devastating. And I'm happy such things still exist, after all you know you all miss the good old days when people would wtfpwn others with one hit kills. |
