I think this is a bit buggy. I've noticed that I can't see normal, visible, non-hidden people pick up certain objects. I don't know when this started happening, but I know it's not very recent. I just did a bit of testing with someone, and I noticed that when I turned turned off nospam (from "all"), I could see something I couldn't see 30 seconds before.

I'll provide longs if needed.

There are new nospam options that prevent object management and eating spam.

If you type 'nospam' with no arguments it'll give you a list of your nospam settings. You'll notice the two new ones at the bottom :P

Speaking of Nospam options, I havea question myself. How is it I can have mostlyall the NOspam combat options on (deflection, misses etc) yet sometimes I still see say a cleave or circle stab / hamstring miss. It highlights it in a dark crimsno color most of the time when it does get through the spam filter.

I can think of two reasons
1) These are one off moves, and aren't really going to be spamming all over your screen unless its a 9v9 group of Rogues :P
2) Nospam shows all attacks that hit. If cleave was to be shield blocked for example, it may not show it. But nospam is mainly used in the big group PvP occasions where you only want to see what hits and eliminate the extra spam so you can heal/rescue/whatever.

Hellion cleaves, circlestabs, hamstrings, ambushes, counterstrikes, head butts, thrown weapons, these are all commands that, if they "miss" (IE: Did lame damage, but were not dodged/shield blocked, or the like) will not be affected by nospam.

The reason is that said miss is actually the skill failing, not a "miss" due to shield blocking or dodging.

Basically, having bad aim for attack-like skills will not keep them from the nospam filter.

Another thought: The red text shown for skill damage is related to the amount of hp left on the victim after the move is executed, and as such is relatively independent of the damage done by the skill itself.

For example, if I hit you with a thrown weapon that does 1% damage to you due to your armor, and you are at 100% HP, the game will say "Your thrown weapon grazes Kin!" Conversely, if you are at 2% HP and I hit you with the same thrown weapon, still doing only 1% damage, the game will say "Your thrown weapon DOES UNSPEAKABLE THINGS to Kin!" Even though it did little damage, it will still display that message. This is the same reason that someone can "miss" with a headbutt and still knock someone unconscious, or "miss" with a thrown maledicted weapon, and still hit someone with a maledict. (I remember Youma enchanting curse on shurikens when we went out PvPing, and he'd throw them at enemies to keep them from quaffing word potions.)
