You utter the words, 'candusgjfcandusqnn'.
Your spell fizzles upon reaching the ghost of xxx.

Why is this happening so much all of the sudden? It seems to be only me and one other priest having these problems, any ideas? Is this a bug, or just there for effect?

There comes a time in a priests' life where things just don't... work quite as well as they used to.

Are you having trouble getting your prayers up there to the river? Just not the strong firm prayer you remember? Does your spell of resurrection just seem dead and limp? Are your resurrectees just not as satisfied as they used to be? That's why we have our little friend here. Reziagra! Here to treat all your resurrectile-dysfunction needs!

Try a free sample today!

(Warning:Long casting times over multiple resurrections are a possible side-effect. Consult your doctor or patron immortal before using reziagra.)

I had that happen to me too today... Didn't bug log it, but I"d love to know what's going on (or is it something to do with the GRPs?)

It's what'll happen when the ghost hasn't reached the afterlife (river) yet. No bug here, just ask them to manifest to you and use exorcism on them if one of you doesn't feel like waiting those few ticks.

Also happens if the target receives another rez while you're casting.

Maybe it's because of the last event with Achernar.

I thought the message to where they aren't in the River yet is 'Your call to the River goes unheard' or 'that spirit refuses to be summoned' or something like that. I've never had a fizzle message in regards to resurrection before.

Note: If it's a new message, I haven't been able to play in a few weeks.

The ghost was in a no magic room.

I got that message yesterday and I thought it was because I was in a no-summon room. Maybe it's new though, I don't really know.
