By design. The more you speak a language IRL the better you get at it. It's not just hearing it that would improve your skill. Speaking should (and does
) count.

When training (for example a language), you can potentially learn language skills from your own says. Is this by accident or design? |

And speaking it in crowds helps you learn it faster. I'm not exactly sure what the reasoning for this is, but I remember going to some huge meeting and speaking 'hi' in uxmaln with a character, immediately getting 2 ticks at it. |
