I finally got this sacred dagger so I wore it to get the timer reset just I got it.

It seems to have the same script another piece of my armor has(the sash to be exact) so, this funny thing happened when wielded it.

Code:
 oOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOo
o [Affects] Yotbol, the Arntehne Ilkhan, Archbishop of Deceit               o
 o===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===o
o Affect: 'armor' - deflection bonus to probability to dodge                o
o *snip phat buffs snip*                                                    o
 oOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOo

An aura of divine blessing surrounds you.
You feel less protected.         <-- While already armored, the script fires again
You feel someone protecting you.
You wield the dagger of deceit in your hand.
The dagger of deceit feels like a part of you!

I'm pretty sure the same happens on other sacred suits with several pieces. Any way to fix it? It's just a minor inconvenience, nothing much, but I could save the mana from the armor script firing twice without an obvious reason.

Obviously the easy way is to limit the armor script pieces to 1 per sacred suit. But I'm sure it can be easily done through the script code with some if condition or something.

Jesus christ D-A.

I'm sure that 1% ME really screwed you over. It looks like you wore the dagger after the tick, and the script fired again. Are you sure it was even the same scripted spell firing? The sentences for armor and some other spells being casted/dropping are the same.

Under no circumstances at all, should the scripts from religion armor be limited all to 1 piece of armor.

One piece for armor, one for protection that comes with other requirements(several pieces of armor).

That's was the idea at least when the scripts were changed in all the sacred suits.

Send an email with more details about which suit this is and the exact names of the pieces of equipment involved.

Multiple suits are like this. The Zavijah suit was, unless it's been fixed since last year.

The Meissan suit was built without a torso pieces...meaning no scripts at all. When it was redesigned, adding extra pieces was considered not allowed, and so it remains having no scripts at all.

I don't think the scripts were limited to specific slots.

At least, the suit which I'm aware of had its scripts elsewhere.

Also, I think as long as the # of sacred items remains the same, you can add a piece likely by removing a different one. You probably would need some RP to support this, but it should not be impossible. Or were you told differently?

Curiously,
A

Different pieces are needed to fire the scripts, but the scripts are held in the torso piece.

In addition, trading pieces was requested and denied.
