A NPC's head butt misses you.
You are knocked unconscious by the force of a NPC's blow!
Everything goes black.

I know usually that if the headbutt lands it will do a small amount of damage(scratches) and then a chance to stun. Does headbutt have a two part feature now that it can miss with damage and still stun?

It was always like that.

The miss part is on the damage calculation only, there is another roll to see if it will stun or not.

Reguardless if this has always been this way, I've never found it right that it can still knock you out if it misses.

That miss is not the white miss message, it's the generic damage message(that does 0 damage).

I'm sure Dulrik can change that word in the code and replace it with another that will imply contact but complete lack of damage, but it's not something so important to even spend 5 mins fixing it.

There are other huge bugs in the game that need to be fixed before that imo.
