Maybe since you were hungry and thirsty, you didn't recover enough HP to get beyond 0%?

Yea. I remember when people exploited that you could plague dead people. Eventually when you ended up in the afterlife you would end up being stunned, not able to do anything.
If you don't regain enough hp you wont wake up.

Hmm. This had never happened to me until that time.

It might be possible, after the blindness changes to from ticks to a separate timer, that stun works like this as well?

It's never done this before, and ive been stunned MANY times since that change. :/

Also, I had to wait till the next tick for me to get unstunned, so that also shows that's not what happened.
