Apparently, either the required concentration for dancing was increased unannounced, or there's a bug going on. The Garnet Lounge As with the room below, the walls here are covered with twinkling crystals of amethyst. The floor, though, is quite something to behold. Millions of tiny, polished garnets have been painstakingly set into the floor in amazingly complex and beautiful patterns. Your feet never actually touch them, though, as they, like the rest of the lodge, are magically protected from wearing down or breaking. The room contains many divans, cushions, and comfortable chairs, as this is a lounge. You see several groups of mages deep in conversation, many of them of professions you would expect to kill each other on the spot rather than sit together and talk. Obvious exits: n e s w nw ne sw se The mage is here, fighting YOU! The mage is here, fighting YOU! The mage is here, fighting YOU! A mage is resting quietly here. A mage is resting quietly here. A mage is resting quietly here. [HP 88] [ME 67] [PE 97] || The Garnet Lounge || 1 obsidian, 3 platinum, 5 gold, 6 silver, 7 copper >dance You can't concentrate enough to dance. The mage dodges your attack. The mage dodges your attack. The mage dodges your attack. The mage misses you. You dodge the mage's attack. You dodge the mage's attack. Overall, the mage has quite a few wounds. Prior to this (as in, this weekend) I was able to dance and fight up to half a dozen NPCs. I haven't had a problem with dancing while fighting more than two since level 5 or 6. What's the deal? |

Are you charmed? I had the same problem when the NPC charmed me. |

No, I'm under no adverse affects at all. |

Relogging did not fix this. |

Were you proned by tripping yourself at all? According to the new updates, you can no longer dance in that state. If not, it might be a bugged offshoot of one of the NPCs being prone. |

Try dancing first, then attacking them? |

I would get the "you need to regain your feet" message. |

There were no purposeful changes to concentration, dancing or otherwise. Furthermore, the changes went in on Friday - there were no changes at all during the weekend. So I'd say it is likely that the problem is specific to the situation or your character has changed in some way. |

I haven't lost any stat points, and I've been GM for a good long while. I also tested this on other types and groups of NPCs, and the same effect occured. |

Did you have an int booster at one point and now it has gone? Could there have been more then the six npcs in the room with you and you simply did not notice? |
