That's correct. It's something I've complained to D about before. In this day and age, a longer password is your friend.

On occassion I have noticed that if I incorrectly spell my password it will sometimes accept it anyways, and log me in. It will also sometimes during character creation accept your password reguardless if it's spelled right or not when you type it in the second time as long as it's similar it'll still work. Perhaps my passwords are to long or something and it's just ignoring the last few letters of my password. It seems to mostly work when the typo is at the end of the password more often then the beginning. Typically my passwords are at least 10 letters long. |
