The last several notes that have been posted on the astral boards don't show up when you type "note list." You can still read them by typing "note read" or "note read #."

Too bad there wasn't some sort of archival for these, that either built a new book every Xth update in the game or perhaps a web based storage that would let people read ?50 year old notes. Both?

You can't see the NEW notes. Like, my list ends at 251, but I can read up to like 257.

I think h means like every month all the old are removed and put into a book or volume some place for archival reading only.

Look, I think you are misunderstanding here. What you think isn't what this thread is about.

note list shows 251 notes

there are 258 notes

the only way you can read 252-258 is by typing note read 252, etc etc.

do you think that might be caused by having too many lines? I knew what you meant and my initial thought was 'maybe it will only show 251'. That with the other post, made me think he was following along too. But maybe i assume too much.

Yea. Astral boards are broke.

Just looked at it... same behavior as the others. The listing isn't iterating through all the notes.

I think I might be getting mangled bits of them, but I'm really not sure.

I also get a messed up scroll break, too, with the --MORE-- stuff twice per break with no newline in between.

At least there are more than 2^8 notes on the board.
