You are using: <worn on finger> a mithril ring adorned with rubies (brand new) <worn around neck> a smooth silvery disc engraved with a pair of dice (brand new)<worn around neck> a mithril chain (superb) <worn as symbol> a smooth silvery disc engraved with a sextant <worn on body> a jerkin coated in dead leaves and bark (fair) <worn on legs> a kilt made from sea dragon scales (superb) <worn on feet> (Invis) a pair of ethereal boots (brand new) <worn on hands> (Glowing) a pair of black mithril gauntlets (superb) <worn on arms> (Glowing) a set of mithril sleeves (superb) <worn about body> a pouch-laden baldric and scabbard, outfitted with two different-sized quivers (superb) <worn around wrist> a finely-crafted wrist guard etched with a VII (brand new) <right hand> (Humming) a mithril epee (superb) [HP:100%] [ME: 99%] [PE: 98%] > remove disc You stop using a smooth silvery disc engraved with a pair of dice. You feel less aware of your surroundings. You no longer see invisible objects. [HP:100%] [ME: 99%] [PE: 98%] > wear disc It is a bit small for you. Your awareness improves. Your eyes tingle. Pretty soon after wearing it, it "transformed" into my symbol. It worked just fine, so I didn't bug log it. I spoke to a player about it, and since it can still change its shape, they told me it probably gives me the stat bonus too, and would be bug abuse if I didn't log it. I don't care if it's taken away from me by an Imm... but if so, could I have a replacement cloak? |

I'm on the case; I already have a good idea of what the culprit is. |

TA-DA! I know why it's doing this - I was innately intrigued since there was another case of this a month or so ago; the only thing actually happening here is cosmetic - it's the flair symbol scripts that every religion seems to like to ask for attempting to change the look and keywords of a "symbol" - specifically, the religious symbol.. Symbol happens to be a keyword for that particular cloak. If this happens to you or another, they're free to keep it if they like. The fix is a little more irritating than I'd like for something this "minor", so I can't promise it'll go in soon. |

If they work like that. Wouldn't it be easier just to add certain random keywords for the symbols to work off instead? Such as Sadal101 for that symbol Or is that even more effort to change all the symbols. |

There's specific keywords we can use, but the issue is in the script itself. The best solution is probably to change the keywords of items that aren't symbols to not contain that word. |

I once had a fibulae change into a pin with a straight jacket or something. I can't recall if it was on my Marfikian, but at least this would explain this too. Thanks for clearing it up. |
