The opponent was silenced by the song, managed to cast a spell, then was silenced again. Quote: [HP:100%] [ME: 29%] [PE: 89%]
> sing of An elderly female gnome utters the words, 'yazfuz yucandus'. Pink flames surround you. [HP:100%] [ME: 29%] [PE: 89%] > dance Your acidic bite lightly burns an elderly female gnome's chest. You miss an elderly female gnome. An elderly female gnome's punch at your head is deflected by the Helm of Gods' Blessings. Overall, an elderly female gnome has some small wounds and bruises. [HP:100%] [ME: 29%] [PE: 89%] > You begin to sing. You sing: Still the echoes, [HP:100%] [ME: 29%] [PE: 89%] > You sing: Cease the tongue, An elderly female gnome is entranced by the song's beauty. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< [HP:100%] [ME: 27%] [PE: 88%] > Your acidic bite burns an elderly female gnome's right arm. Your acidic bite starts to melt an elderly female gnome's right arm. You dodge an elderly female gnome's attack. Overall, an elderly female gnome has quite a few wounds. [HP:100%] [ME: 27%] [PE: 88%] > You begin to dance. [HP:100%] [ME: 27%] [PE: 88%] > ma Your acidic bite starts to melt an elderly female gnome's left arm. An elderly female gnome's punch at your left leg is deflected by a knee-length battle skirt of mithril links. Overall, an elderly female gnome has quite a few wounds. [HP:100%] [ME: 27%] [PE: 88%] > Your stance is now aggressive. You sing: Of these chattering sparrows. You continue to dance. [HP:100%] [ME: 25%] [PE: 86%] > You demolish an elderly female gnome's right arm with your acidic bite. Your acidic bite burns an elderly female gnome's chest. An elderly female gnome starts to concentrate. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Overall, an elderly female gnome has some big nasty wounds and scratches. [HP:100%] [ME: 25%] [PE: 86%] > You sing: Let silence now run, You continue to dance. [HP:100%] [ME: 23%] [PE: 84%] > aim upper You now try to aim at the upper body section of your foes. [HP:100%] [ME: 23%] [PE: 84%] > Your acidic bite starts an elderly female gnome's chest on fire. Your acidic bite starts to melt an elderly female gnome's chest. Overall, an elderly female gnome has some big nasty wounds and scratches. [HP:100%] [ME: 23%] [PE: 84%] > mode kill You will fight to kill. [HP:100%] [ME: 23%] [PE: 84%] > An elderly female gnome utters the words, 'yrawzgculatz'. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< You manage to leap out of the way as a column of fire slams into you! [HP: 94%] [ME: 23%] [PE: 84%] > You sing: For the sake of the golden. You continue to dance. An elderly female gnome is entranced by the song's beauty. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< My only guesses are that something happened when I switched to an aggressive stance, or when I started dancing. (the "sing of" command is short for "sing 'of chattering sparrows'" which is a song of silence.) |

It actually looks like the songs didn't affect him until then, maybe he saved from lyrics? |

He was only affected before you started dancing. Songs of silence without dancing merely severely reduces cast time. I'm unsure whether there would be a second echo after you started dancing or if it would just happen stealthily. |

Konge, you're wrong. Dancing with songs of silence only means that those grouped with you are not also affected. Songs of silence silences as soon as "entrance" happens. However, when you start dancing, you have to re-entrance. This isn't a bug, it's just the way the song works. |

Thanks, OA. I was afraid this was the case, I just wanted someone to confirm it. |
