I started another character cause my first wasn't getting any exp in the academy for new characters in Sith'a'niel. This time I made a griffon barb to see if I actually wasn't getting any exp. I killed about 30 of the bees (queen & drones) and still not a single tick of exp. This newbie area not giving exp or am I missing something?

At creation I was at the half-way point to the next level after the following:

Code:
Obvious exits: n e(closed) s w
(13) A few silver coins are here.
(10) A few copper coins are here.
The severed wing of a bee drone is here.
The severed wing of a bee queen is here.
One lonely copper coin is here.
( 3) The sliced-off arm of an insect is lying here.
A tail of a bee queen is here.
You see a practice shield here.
A seasoned half-elven man stands here.

If you are a light aura char and the targets are light aura then you will get minimal XP. But you should have at least gone up a tick.

Bees shouldn't really be light aura. If they are, that needs to be changed, especially in a starting area like Sith, where it's easily presumed that most characters there will be of the light persuasion. Gray would work fantastically.

Well I gave up after killing four entire rooms full of bees and not gaining a single tick of exp. I've always thought that starting areas should lvl you from 1-5 faster than Usain Bolt can run a 100 & 200 metre race.

My Sith Lord leveled great by sticking to the enemies suggested to 'em by the trainers.

Maybe someone stunned all your mans? :P I hear that squeezes the xps out of them.

Try another target in that area?

I've leveled a few characters in that particular starting area, and I've never had that problem before. I do wanna say to whomever built that area, the transportation room is awesome and was a great idea imo.

I've designed the area for both light-hearted and dark-hearted leveling due to the fact that the Ayamaoan Alliance covers all alignments. If you are not gaining XP, switch to another target. It should be obvious that there is a difference in aura.

I had been wondering if mentor characters could use it, personally.
