You utter the words, 'zawsufuq hajqp'.
A lean male half-elf shrivels up as you touch him, his lifeless eyes turning black!
A lean male half-elf is DEAD!!
You hear a lean male half-elf's death cry.
You get 8 silver coins from a corpse of a lean male half-elf.
You get 8 copper coins from a corpse of a lean male half-elf.
Just keep it all.
You feel better!

That is outstanding... there's probably a very logical explanation for this, but in case it's a bug, here you go.

At the very least, it's very entertaining.

You're healed.... just kidding!

No, but seriously, if that was vamp touch, or energy drain, it gives you slight HP or somesuch

Was the npc mortally wounded before you killed him with vampiric touch? Sometimes you go -1% health before you are actually dead. So I think you drained his -1% health to your 98% health. So you get: 97% health.

Make sense? Not sure if it is a bug.

I would want to say that you shouldn't be able to drain negative hps with vampiric touch.

I would *want* to say that.
