I spazzed out and ordered the dirt kick before waiting to see if the sleep would land. Except that he didn't wake up when bill dirt kicked him.

After several tries to put the guy back to sleep, I get this message and realize that he never woke up.

Was the powerful centaur wearing a reach weapon? Did the lion die? What happened after that, if so?

What happened after that is I released my charm on bill, who had been fighting the guy's lion. Bill got angry at me so I put him to sleep and all combat was over. I was holding sleep on the centaur, bill, and another pc I had already put to sleep.

I noticed today that when Ealuriel was sleeping and a NPC broke one of her images with a throwing spear, she didn't wake up. I was surprised. Don't know if it's a bug and don't know if it's related.

Well I said I wasn't sure it was a bug, but your response makes me think you haven't put any thought into the matter, mund. If just getting an image broken doesn't wake you up, I could find a sleeping sorc, backstab, flee, backstab, flee until they had no MI or until one landed. I'm not sure that's a feature.
