Code: persuade young cast 'shield' tristala They are completely unmoved by your words. A young scholar's punch at your stomach is deflected by a navy belt of dragonscale. or Code: persuade young cast 'shield' tristala You fail to persuade them. A young scholar's punch at your stomach is deflected by a navy belt of dragonscale. Are the two messages I've seen when persuade doesn't work. The first is when they resist, the second is when I fail persuade, or so I assume. Any ideas on what this third one means? Code: > persuade young cast 'shield' tristala
You dodge a young scholar's attack. |

What happens when you persuade someone to do something they cannot? Do you get attacked? I've never . . . . had the dedication to get a bard to the sufficient level to learn. |

May be a bug in the order things are executed? Like for example for some reason the aggro trigger of the persuade command fired before persuade's action, thus persuade's action could not be even executed due to combat? Just an idea. |

Maybe one is you failing to persuade, and another you successfully persuading, but they passed a saving throw? |

Naw, turon, re-read the post. The first two examples are clearly supposed to be what you said, but the third example is some kind of anomaly. |

I think the anomaly is simply 'They are completely unmoved by your words' failing to trigger. |
