I've noticed that if you greet someone or someone greets you, you can tell who someone is when they're polymorphed simply by glancing or looking at them using their name. This shouldn't be possible imo because unless someone sees you polymorph into something they wouldn't really know who you are.

I have to agree with this completely. I've seen it ruin many a RP attempt. Is there actually a reason why it works the way it does now?

When I was last in the Druids, we could always tell when Ealuriel was in Sith'a'niel based on what she was polymorphed as via the who list.

What boots said is also true. If you greet someone it should -always- show their default race. Like if you polymorph into a non playable race, you still show up as your default race on the who list. But if you polymorph into a playable race, everyone who has you greeted also sees that you've polymorphed into a dwarf or elf. It's really odd.

I didn't know that. I think you're right. It shouldn't work like that.

Also, polymorphed characters cannot be rewarded for roleplaying

I tried their adjective, but it didn't work.

Kimbry solved this problem by not using obvious, repeat guises and by not greeting people she didn't want to know her identity.
