Thanks. That worked. I was confused because 'unlock n' and 'unlock s' had both worked fine to check the other two rooms. |

I don't feel stupid. If 'close se' works then so should 'unlock se' since you can no more close yourself than you can unlock yourself. |

I don't think it's "self". I think this happens with unlock whenever you have a piece of gear on that starts with SE, NE, or SW. Try wearing a sword for example and unlocking sw. |

Heh, it was the serpentine ring in your inventory. It happens all the time to me in the Outpost and various other places if I get it from the Nerina newbie quest, especially when people wear it. Try removing it and stowing it in your bag and see if it helps. |
