I seem to keep having my formation destroyed as I am walking around newbie areas. |

most likely your pets do not have permission to enter the area and are left behind. |

No first time I died I figured I forgot to reposition it, second time I caught it I had just moved myself trained a level went back slept and then positions were messed up. |

Could the thing have missed a bash or trip and you did not catch it? |

I don't think he is having formational probelms like that, only way bash and trip can change anything is leaving your pet behind. Unless you have a log of this happening, nothing will come of this I imagine. You just need to check your formation before attacking things if you think you're front row. I personally have not had this problem, and recently was in newbie areas myself leveling. |

I've recently experienced a problem where people who are not prone, are following, and are not in combat just will not follow my character from one room to another for no apparent reason. This might be related. |

This might be related. I've only seen this in very unique circumstances - I wonder if those circumstances could be used to understand what you've been seeing more broadly. The two places it happens with regular frequency involve a kind of "transfer" mechanism: the entrance to Radi Kenga's chambers and the "green shift" room in the chamber en route to the Temple of Murder. |

Are there places that are "narrow" (i.e., only a limited number of characters can go through at a time, in many instances in other MUDs I've seen this, a limit of 1 was common) in SK? Are these two places like that? Perhaps there are others? |

There are a few places that you have to be size tiny to get into, and there are places where people in the room make them unable to be entered. I don't think there's anything exactly like what you are saying, though. I suggest taking back-up if you want to shrink down. |

Are these two places like that? Perhaps there are others? There are "narrow" places in SK in the sense that there is a limit of 1 on the number of characters that can pass through. There are also places that are "narrow" in the sense that the opening is actually sized too small for certain characters. Neither of these applies to the two examples I gave however. |
