Shouldn't it be if you're impaired, it should show up in your affects so you know?

Perhaps with a 'strength' rating on the impairment too?

eg:

Code:
o Affect: 'impairment' - morale penalty to reflex                                 o
o Affect: 'impairment' - morale penalty to willpower                              o
o Affect: 'impairment' - morale penalty to willpower                              o

From looking at this, I can see I have a 'moderate' impairment on my willpower and a slight impairment on my reflex.

I know you are already coding your brains out, but this is awesome and just wanting it to be better.

I am pretty sure impairment does show up in your affects. At least I saw it when I typed affects when getting impaired once.

This may have to do with only have one affect per thing (such as a bonus to willpower cancelling out a penalty to it in affects)

But I currently do not see any impairment when it supposedly lands on me, just a message when it goes away.

If you arent seeing it, then you must not be impaired. Perhaps you are mistaking some other message for impairment wearing off?

I have appropriately seen it in my affects coupled with the wear off message. Not sure what is causing it to not appear. To the testmobile!

I'm fairly sure this has to due with a bonus applied to one of your saves, if it is greater than your impairment negative, it will only show the bonus.

If some sort of bonus is turning off impairment, that is a significant bug that I would like to know how to reproduce ASAP.

You might be misreading.

I don't think the point is that it's disabling impairment entirely. I think the point is that if you have, say, a Bless effect whose bonus to Willpower is greater than the impairment negative to Willpower, until such a time as the impairment negative stacks to reduce Willpower beyond the bonus granted by Bless, impairment will not show in affects list. It would be similar to how some bonuses to saves stack, but only the greater of the two will appear in the affects list.

The simple fix would be to have all bonuses and penalties show in affects list.

Yes, this.

I'm pretty sure bonuses to saves do not stack if only one of them is showing up on the affects list.
