I'm a noob and totally forgot to log this. Sorry. Not having a sorc, it'd be hard for me to replicate it. Someone else might be able to. If you set out to try/test, use the wind-swept gnome.
Sorc gives charmed priest NPC a water container.
Sorc orders charmed priest NPC to c 'create water' container.
Sorc stacks command for ordering priest NPC to give the container back to himself.
Charmed NPC priest immediately stops what he's doing and hands the container back, empty.
Totally screwy. No idea what happened, but this NPC did it like 4 or 5 times.
The charmed NPC priest does not 'immediately stop' what he's doing, but does interrupt what he's doing to politely hand you back the container as you'd requested. I believe he then finishes his spell with that whole priest uttered the words 'create water'.
I believe you can test this on any NPC capable of spell casting, not just priest, and not just 'create water' in this case. Give them an item, have them cast a spell (preferably with a longer duration), then order them to perform an action.
If PCs can't perform actions mid-concentrating, NPCs shouldn't either.
Though, I personally wouldn't mind having a 'stop' function on casting... but I'm sure I'll get ripped a new one for that.
