            A vast expanse of grassland spreads out as far as the eye can
    hhh    see.  Lavish waves of light-green grass, about thigh high on a
    p*y    human, sway to and fro at the wind's command, scratching together
    rpy    in a soothing sort of whisper.  Inflorescences of flora offer
           bursts of color to a sea otherwise dominated by green.  Insects
sprinkle the air as they jump from flower to flower in a tireless effort.
Small paths cut through the long grasses, evidence of habitual animal use.

            Standing high above the surrounding country-side you find
    hhh    yourself in the hillside south of the Ice Wall Mountains.  Named
    h*h    "The Wastelands" long ago, this rolling mass of hills seems a
    ppy    contradiction to the title.  Dark, healthy grass blanket the
           hills, clustered with beds of exquisite-looking flora that send a
sweet perfume into the air.  Young trees rise up out of the landscape at
irregular intervals, baring fruits and nuts which the local wildlife seems
drawn to.   It's raining lightly, mild, and very, very windy.
