So, has anyone else been having issues gating to npcs/pcs? I have removed all of my armor, dropped all spells held, turned off auto summon, went outside, and every single npc/pc(even open minded) resists the attempt. The number of npc's I have tried is over 6 different targets.

Nope, I just gated into Tlaxcala less than an hour ago.

Edit: And I just checked again to another NPC, no problem.

Something has to be wrong with my pfile then. :( I've tried to gate to Tlaxcala several times and only failure despite using a successful use of gate mana

This char has gated to these NPCs before and everything? That's really screwy...

Did you do the controls?

Can you gate to portal stones? Are you sure the NPC was present? Did this hold true after logging out and back in?

Yes, I tried every single target that I have tried in the past and succeded, and now failed. Even after several logout/logins

Can get to any stone though

The NPCs in question might be dead, or you're very unlucky, or you were trying to gate from a no-gate room. Probably the former.

Nope, for instance Akara. I physically went there, looked at her, then left the city and attempted to gate naked, no spells, auto summon off, and resisted my gate every single time. Same with Thomb, Awosus(sp) and a couple of others.

Try to gate to Akara from her room.

Also, try to gate to yourself and see if you at least see it appearing and vanishing.
