Bolt of glory should not make NPCs that cannot fly flee into air rooms. If they cannot flee in that direction they just shouldn't flee. Code: [HP: 97%] [ME: 93%] [PE: 97%]
> You utter the words, 'barh ay ohifl'. A bolt of light bursts forth from your hand! An elder female mistling cringes in terror from your bolt of glory! An elder female mistling darts southeast. An elder female mistling has fled! [HP: 97%] [ME: 89%] [PE: 97%] > Cast the spell on whom? [HP: 97%] [ME: 89%] [PE: 97%] > l Atop a Sky-Rock The rocky surface of this plateau appears smooth towards the center of the area. Sharp, ragged edges jut out of the ground along its perimeter, defining some natural boundary. A misty vapor looms about, covering the island in a blanket of gray that significantly lowers visibility. With each gust of the wind, the vapors awaken from their slumber, dancing about with mystical eeriness. The crustal ground is lined with deep cracks and emits a pleasant, silver glow. Geysers shoot out of the schisms from time to time, spurting steam and water particles all over the plateau. It's snowing lightly, numbingly frozen, and breezy. Obvious exits: n e s w ne se (Charmed) A silver-winged pegasus stands here looking majestic. [HP: 97%] [ME: 89%] [PE: 97%] > l se You see A Fluffy Cloud. An elder female mistling, an elder male mistling, an elder female mistling, an elder female mistling and an elder male mistling are nearby southeast from here. An elder male mistling is not too far off southeast from here. An elder female mistling is a long ways off southeast from here. [HP: 97%] [ME: 89%] [PE: 97%] > stand You are already standing. [HP: 97%] [ME: 89%] [PE: 97%] > l n You see A Storm Cloud. An elder male mistling is nearby north from here. [HP: 97%] [ME: 89%] [PE: 97%] > c flame se mist You start to concentrate. [HP: 97%] [ME: 89%] [PE: 97%] > You utter the words, 'yrawzgculatz'. An elder female mistling avoids your flame column, narrowly avoiding certain death! [HP: 97%] [ME: 84%] [PE: 97%] > se You aren't flying. |

Bolt making NPCs flee in the first place is kind of stupid, but whatevs. I'd love to hear the justification for why a PC is forced to stand and fight, but an NPC is so afraid they run the hell away. |

The flee affect probably could be removed. It's annoying as [REDACTED] when trying to level with the spell that it forces the NPCs to flee in terror. |

Am I the only one confused about the fact that the NPC in question is flying? |

It's not flying, otherwise it would come back in on its own, or def after the flamestrike. |

Except that A) the NPC darted, and B) the room with the paladin isn't a flight sector, so there's no reason why the NPC wouldn't be able to just walk back in even if he wasn't flying. |

The NPC "darting" as a movement descriptor does not mean the NPC was flying. |
