By a Ramp Out of the Quarry
This is the floor of a vast, long-worked quarry. The southern wall is
only fifteen feet high here. A ramp of wood and steel is broad enough to
give a horse-drawn wagon exit from the quarry. Some ruined mechanism is on
top the ramp. The ground around the ramp is littered with old ashes. The
finely grained stone here is a lustrous white color save for a dark stain on
the wall. A sweet, floral smell permeates the air.
It's mostly clear, hot, and calm.
Obvious exits: n e w nw ne wilderness
One can exit back out to the wilderness from here.
A dust-covered male giant is here.
A Taslamaran courser exits from the quarry.

You see The Middle of the Quarry.
A fierce-looking female human Volator, a wiry male giant Volator, a burly male human Volator, a dust-covered male giant, a one-eared male giant, a blonde female half-elf Volator and a lissome female halfling Volator are nearby north from here.
A puny female human Volator and a dust-covered male giant are not too far off north from here.

You start to concentrate.

You utter the words, 'yrawzgculatz'.
Someone is massacred as you direct a large column of fire to strike him!

A lissome female halfling Volator pierces at a Taslamaran courser's stomach, barely wounding him.

An Old Rock Quarry
^^hhhfpbb You are standing outside a large old rock quarry. From the

One can enter the quarry through a path.

So, is this a bug? Directional movement is still inhibited, but when the group is engaged, it's possible to move through portal exits.

Yeah, this works through rifts/gates too.

Yes, it is a bug. I am guessing that it would not work if you actually typed enter gate.

No one ever types that, so I doubt we'd get a sample of that unless it were done just for testing purposes.

I don't actually care whether or not anyone actually does it. I mentioned it because I wanted someone to test it and let me know if that's the case. If you don't want to test it, don't bother to reply.

Correct. If you're not directly fighting you cant type <exit> and go through the exit. But if you type 'enter <exit>' you get the 'No way! You are still fighting!' message.

I've been playing for years, and I didn't know typing that was an option.

Tying the exit name just forwards you to the enter command, but apparently not the very front end of the enter command.
