Area all ought to show you ALL the possible areas you can visit that are listed, and your familiarity to each. Right now it only shows what's in your range, ever, so if a location eventually becomes "unimportant," you lose the coordinates on it.

Yes. I hate when a newb asks me where some place is and I can't tell them the right coordinates because I don't have the area with me, even though I've been there before.

Agreed. No area should be deemed unimportant.

Bumping this because I am a newbie and this would be VERY helpful to me. From another post:

The area command - it would be nice if we could always see anywhere we've explored with the coordinates. It makes no sense they fall off the bottom. Quite useful for helping new players, or returning to places we've found and want to go back and explore once it becomes easier to do so.

Or searchable: "area journeyman"

there's actually in the help files a reference to an areas all level, and an areas kingdom level, but they do not appear to work...

Couldn't the code be changed so that instead of displaying areas that match:

AREA MIN <= Your Level <= AREA MAX

It displays areas that match:

AREA MIN <= Your Level?

I'm just guessing on the code but it strikes me that it should be an easy change.

There should be an area loot command. It can list all current areas that have phat loot.

I believe Dulrik mentioned somewhere he would update the help files now but to update the command would be a lesser priority.

I believe with the influx of new players having the ability to see previously explored areas (and locations) a boon for existing players to more readily be able to assist/remember how to get others to these locations.

I ask that updating the area command be reconsidered a higher priority.
