I've a hard time imagining a warrior riding his steed and still being able to use the dirt kicking skill. Granted the kick skill would still be useable, but how many people can honestly still be able to kick dirt at thier target while on thier steed? I consider this a bug.

Though in actuality, you're arguing for dirt kick to be changed, so it would probably be in the gameplay forum :P

Anyways. Sure, why not. Bring on the dirt kick nerfing :P I'm sure for balance reasons it won't be done, but it doesn't make much sense as to how you can kick dirt while mounted.

Perhaps you carry a pouch of dirt around that in times of need you throw at your boot to kick into your enemies eyes?

You are an idiot, I've now lost some intelligence just from reading your stupid post.

Have a little cry because you aren't getting your own way? If you want to flame me, roll the dice and take your chances, but do it on GD, this is not the place.

What I was saying in layman's terms is that the "dirt kick" skill is in fact a misnomer. Perhaps in your mind every time a warrior uses the dirt kick skill, he is getting his toe in some loose dirt and somehow performing a physics-defying maneuver to get that dirt into his enemies eyes with unerring accuracy.

However, because I am a rational man, I have completely discounted the suggestion as implausible verging on impossible, especially given that you do not need a dexterity of lightning to use the dirt kick skill. Instead, I am of the belief that your character might pick up some dirt in his off hand and cast it into his enemy's eyes, or do one of any number of other things that has the end result of his enemy being blinded.

I agree that the "pouch of dirt" example I cited was unlikely and I must state that it was intended to be a tongue in cheek post made largely in jest due to the obvious lack of a solid argument within the original post. However, if you would seriously suggest that the dirt kick skill is limited only to digging your foot into the ground and kicking that dirt into your opponent's eyes, I would suggest that you yourself are also a joke.

I apologise for the removal of your intelligence. It's painfully obvious that you need every little bit you can find.

If you are going to tell him to flame you on GD, then set an example and don't flame here.

Then how would one be able to, in the midst of battle, reach down with their hand, while parrying and fighting with a two handed weapon, and throw dirt into someone's eyes? How would one be able to do so with a sword in each hand? How would one be able to do so with a sword and shield? And if your hands are full, and you are claiming you are not kicking the dirt, how are you proposing the dirt gets into your enemies eyes? Knee the dirt? Spit the dirt? Kicking dirt seems only logical, but doing so while mounted does not.

This is a fantasy game, thus not all laws of the real world must apply.

dirt kicking while on the back of a pet shouldnt be possible. (unless your a few sizes too big for the pet you are on)

tripping with a whip while on a pet should be possible... If you can use a whip to trip at range, then why does the fact your on a horse stop it... I understand the you cant use your feet to do it... but you arent :)

Use your polearm/spear/sword to hit the ground with a force to send dirt flying to your opponent. The huge dust of cloud would make the opponent blinded for a moment, havn't that ever happen to you irl? Always having to check your eyes if theres something in it, and blowing or rubbing the dust away. There is one way to "dirt kick". Which makes this also possible while mounted.

dirt kick being a relative term isn't a bad thought at all, but it raises the question of why you need 2 good legs to do it.
