Alright, I had both my legs severed, got a Priestess to regenerate them....

You crawl east.

A wide, smooth tunnel and underground stream
The tunnel here is wide enough for several people to walk side by
side, though it would be through a knee-deep stream. The stream flows
eastward with some force. There seems to be hundreds of thin, trickling
streams of water flowing down the walls into the stream. The walls are
also smooth and the height of the tunnel is now nearly twice the height
of a dwarf, making it comfortable enough for a human to walk. There is a
heavy stench in the air of rotting tissue, and there are large masses of
slime molds covering nearly all the surfaces here.

You glance at yourself:
You are looking at a white-bearded male gnome.
Your head is bleeding.
Your chest is scratched.
Your right arm is bleeding.
Your left leg is scratched.
Your right leg is scratched.
Overall, you have quite a few wounds.

Why am I still crawling when both my legs are no longer missing/mangled?

Crawling appears to be a speed setting that you normally don't have access to.

Setting your speed to something else (walk, run, etc...) should stop the crawling.
