Ok, I never complained about this but it's been happening way too much. I fight, my legs get mangled no matter what situation. Since the beginning of my character I have had a leg hit problem. I have tried different armors and stuff, but whatever. Now this time I lost both legs. I tried to fight a few of the NPCs, and I didn't take any damage. So I moved to some in the area the were damaging me quite a bit, and bam I am killing them better than when I had legs. So I regenerated them, then went back. Legs got mangled quickly, lost a lot hp, then I rested. With no legs I decided to try it again. Sure enough I am kicking the asses of these NPCs with no problem. I like it....but kinda weird. |

I had a 'leg' issue with my recent rogue. What class are you playing, just wondered if it could it be related to class? |

Perhaps the NPCs are aiming low? Then they'd take out your legs quickly and have a hard time doing any damage after you were legless. |

I've had this problem before, especially with light armor chars. A lot of the NPCs are aiming low, and since your legs don't take as much damage as your chest before becoming mangled, they get mangled easily (also, you tend to be able to get better chest armor then leg armor in the short term). Usually, if I'm planning a long xp run, I just bring a horse (this is crucial- crawling SUCKS) and let my legs get chopped off. After they do, the damage you take is neglible. In the bakemono caves especially, i've taken 9-10% for some bakemono with legs, then about 1% after the legs are chopped off. |

I have mithril for leg armor, and I almost lost it last night when I got severed *phew*. But I don't mind crawling, it's working so much better. |
