Oh Emm Gee guys!!! I'm finally getting a new (to me) laptop. It's windows based and I am thinking of trying/using a different client. Currently I am using SimpleMU. but I see all these neat things you can do with other clients so I want to try.

Things to keep in mind when suggesting something for me:
1) I'm not really computer savy.
2) I'd like to get involved in some PK (pleas don't kill me too hard ) so any aliases thy help with organizing that would be awesome.
3) im sort of resistant to change... So I don't want to try something really crazy right away.

Any suggestions for clients would be greatly appreciated!

If you are willing to pay a small amount for a lifetime client, I would suggest Zmud.

If you wanna take the free highway, for me MUSHclient is the best.

I agree with shadow, MUSHClient is my preferred client.

If you do end up using MUSHClient, make sure to keep yourself from hitting swarthy people!

If it is windows 7, make sure you get the newest version of Cmud. The nice thing is I can use it on my laptop (Windows 7) and my desktop (Windows XP).

I switched to MUSHclient when I started playing Rorey, and it works very well. I would recommend it.

Just got the laptop this evening and trying to get it set up to my liking. I went with MUSHclient since that seemed to be the winner here. So now I need some help with things like alias' and scripts and what not that I can set and forget. I'll probably need help with the setting part :/ if anyone has time for a noob.
