Does anyone else have this problem? If I don't input a command for a while, Cmud seems to lose link not sending or receiving anything. Only solution is to reconnect.

cmud has an SO_KEEPALIVE socket option enabled by default, which will keep telnet sessions from timing out in NAT routers. it won't circumvent MUD-specific idle timeout code tho. it just prevents routers from dropping idle telnet socket connections.

u may have to adjust ur global window registry for how often the keepalives are sent cuz cmud doesn't allow u to adjust the frequency via the user interface or preferences window to my knowledge - been a while since i tinkered with cmud tho.

This is why we keep you around. lmao. Thanks for this. Is this router specific? So if I go to my friends house and they have a router with a telnet timer, would I need to change it each time? Or client specific, change it once to be safe and it'll be good no matter where I go?
