But I have two questions about Polymorph
A) Does polymorph just change you to the race and obvious attack or does it actually change you into that creature and what it is made of?
Yes you change to that creature, daemons are immune to fire and can see invis. Fytrysks, if you can find their true name, are immune to acid and bludgeoning. Dragons are immune to confusion. Play around with it, it is truely a fun spell to play with.

B) Does polymorph make you a totally new person undetectable to the law enforcement (I remember reading this but I forget what the final
result was)
Why don't you go try this one
Seriously. If you could avoid the law by simply being polymorphed, then everyone would have the local sorc use scrolls to change them into something for city raids... This would obviously be broken. Law NPCs can see through polymorph if you are wanted, but the paladin's of Sith' can't see through it to make sure you aren't a deep-elf

* Another question why does it cost you mana to release polymorph?
Code:
Location: The Lobby of the Waxing Moon
>c poly human scholarly
You start to concentrate.

You utter the words, 'sarlzaksp'.
You polymorph into a human.
[HP:100%][ME: 96%][PE: 78%] Wealth: zero

>release all
You release all your spells.
You return to your normal form.
[HP:100%][ME: 96%][PE: 78%] Wealth: zero
It doesn't. A tick must have happened just as you released it.
