You will be getting plenty of TYPO logs from me soon enough. I figure only newbies have been entering (using) these rooms and most have not been bothering to 'LOOK' at everything carefully and the few that have didn't know how to report the errors. :D

Just want to add that sometimes things are spelt with proper English (English English not American English) so they may look like a spelling error but are actually the way the builder built them. For example, color vs colour.

Everything I saw was straight up typos--missing spaces, extra characters from fumbled fingering and the like.

Some of the errors I noticed before have since been fixed. All others have now been properly reported from inside SK including new ones as I've found them. 8)

OK. One more time . . .

[A] I enter KILL ZAKAMI

after several rounds in which the ZAKAMI is getting weaker and weaker and someone else (player/NPC) effects the room the ZAKAMI dies

I sometimes have to enter JUNK CORPSE even when AUTO JUNK is turned on.

-OR-

[B] I enter KILL ZAKAMI

the ZAKAMI is getting weaker and weaker
someone else effects the room
the ZAKAMI doesn't die or leave the room
nothing seems to be happening

I enter KILL ZAKAMI again and I don't get the message
"I'm trying the best that I can."

and the ZAKAMI finally dies.

Excellent description of the problem - only thing better would have been a log, which I wouldn't expect from someone so new to the game. Here's a few explanations:

Problem A
When someone else walks in the room, you may not have noticed that *they* might have killed the zakami for you? If they're another newbie, they might not know about the AUTO JUNK toggle, and the corpse is left there waiting... for you to junk it after they killed it.

Problem B
This is easy. It's taking you so long to kill the first zakami (in essence, when you type KILL ZAKAMI, what you're really doing is KILL 1.ZAKAMI), that by the time you type it again a new zakami has been reset into the room. The one you're already fighting is now 2.ZAKAMI and when you type kill again, you're effectively picking a new fight, with the very fresh 1.ZAKAMI.

Don't worry if that's not all very clear. Just practice looking at different NPCs (1.human, 2.human and so on) and you'll get the hang of it.

I figured it must be something like that since I couldn't get the problem to recur from inside the game. The one variable that changed was me using a better weapon. Therefore, the KILL command sequence was much shorter with much fewer chances for outside interference.

The errors I've been reporting from within SK are all TYPO related which I will keep up. I'm very visually oriented, so if I see something out of place it stands out like a sore thumb, even when it is minor.
