My question is rather simple, I suppose.

There is a Half Elf race, but would it be possible (Read: Acceptable) to make a "Half Orc"? You know. Roleplaying-wise. A surly human and all that with an appropriate background.

Best way to do this would be to make a human character, and let his adjective/description subtly reveal the taint in his blood.

I realize that's not quite what you wanted, but trying to play a half-orc instead of your actual race (which everyone sees every time they look at you) is considered by many as bad roleplay. Not that it isn't a neat idea, but it doesn't fit in SK's mechanics or gameworld.

Help file: Half-Elves are the offspring of a human and an elf or a deep-elf.


Forsooth's advice is pretty good. Playing a human who is 1/8, 1/4 orc or something like that would work.

But no actual half-orcs, because there is no choosable race: half-orc.

Just like there are no vampires.

I think vampires on Sk would be cool.

You aren't the first one wishing to play a part Orc character. Don't know if they went through with it or not, you might find a similiar counterpart online.
