I didn't ignore the first part of your post, you actually started off with a valid and relevant point and is even a possible RP opportunity, but quite frankly, you [REDACTED] it up with the whole mudsexxor comment.

The current group in the Talons have been working damn hard at removing this whole stigma. And the fact is, we're sick and tired of it continually being thrown in our faces. What may have been at one time isn't the way things currently may be. I've been working damn hard on making this Tribunal a worthwhile organization. We all have. Which considering the fact I haven't played a mud before this, I think we're doing a good job. No, we can't PK worth a [REDACTED], but we're working on that as well. But quite a few of us are at least descent RP'ers and I think getting better every day.

Ya know own, you truly are your own worst enemy at times. You have experience and you can even offer good suggestions, but in the same breath, you also go to far and show your [REDACTED], which takes all attention off the good suggestion you made and brings everyones attention, to the flame.

Oh, I agree, and I'm all for change, evolution, devolution, etc. I was simply pointing out that the bias against necros in the Death religion came later, as its RP evolved. I'm still not sure what the church's current RP is in regard to necromancy.

Back to Achernar & the original questions. Don't get too frustrated if you can't join a Church right away.

IC - RP your beliefs/philsophy/Church. Get comfortable with your character's belief system. Look in libraries for books, visit cities with temples, and get a feel for things. Keep an eye on that who list, they'll pop up at various times of the day. An IC prayer at times works wonders.

OOC - You are lucky. You have an active and attentive administrator in Achernar. You can always check the 'wizlist' command and send an email with SK: in the subject line.. but don't expect an immediate answer

It can take weeks at times to get into a Church when login times don't line up. There is a lot of RP to be had prior to being invested, though if you are a priest and your spells depend on it, that can become frustrating. If you're nearing the 2 week point, that's when I'd recommend sending the message out to Achernar.

As far as being 'right.' Ignore the punches people are throwing at Endrial. But he's a living example of someone in a Church whose present leaders do not believe is 'right.' It's not easy mind you, but it doesn't necessarily end your character, as Endrial's continued efforts prove. At least he has the balls. The rest of you should just grow up.

Yes, the faith is VERY active, and mostly priests. The majority of the faith seems to be on between 10 am and about 9 pm Eastern standard.

Other than that, find us on your own
