What should be done to summon?
Nothing. It's fantastic. I love ganking people. 19%  19%  [ 14 ]

Here are some ideas I combined or liked:

    *Auto summon on means you cannot be summoned nor gated to. When it is off you can be summoned.
    *Auto summon must be off to cast summons or gates.
    *If you, as a PC are summoning a PC, someone in a group of larger size, you actually take the risk of transferring your group to the larger party's location.
    *If they have smaller or equal numbers and auto summon is off, they will be summoned.
    *Summon will identify its caster to the victim.
    *The caster will suffer a short lag after summoning regardless of whether it is PC or NPC victim.

Guys...very simple. Make it so art has no affect on summoning and the entire problem is solved.

Anyways - I still find myself confused that Tragonis can say that it is the fault of the players who will try to win battles by any means that group summoning can't be put in! As if, if we were real roleplayers, we wouldn't cast midnight/entangle/warped/gather defenses before we summoned enemies, we would just summon them and hope for a fight against large groups where one staff means it's over.

By that I mean the groups of eight people going up against a weaker or same sized group, who summoning one person out of that and mass ganking them, rather then having some real pvp. Because they fear they might lose their precious loot. :roll:

The type of players who go at any lengths to get what they want, disregarding anything in the path for their goal. Players who need to learn you cannot win sk, and that not the end is what you try to achieve, but the journey there.

I agree with having auto summon make a PC immune to summons. And I think group summon would be a bad idea.
