So, i have been looking and the role play of the Hellion is the one I like most. Naturally I want Him to be capable to defend him self and pk a little  ...
Where does the Hellion true strength is, physical or mental?

and does charisma affect intimidate yes or no?

It mostly depends on how you build your character stats-wise. You can either train all the way constitution, strength and health points, or you can focus on mental attributes.
IMO, a hellion's true strength lies in a well-done balance, but some also say they are more of a mental type. Recently, hellions got the parry skill, which makes them now more reliable in defence.

As for intimiate, I think it's affected by charisma.

The hellion's true strength lies in being awesome. You cannot go wrong by creating a hellion. I think Sargas really covered all you need to know anyway. You need a little bit of everything.

A hellion's power is wherever you put it. It's probably best to work on evening out your stats and if you want, putting a few points into art. Cleave, maledictions, access to a wide array of weapons, and heavy armor make hellions dangerous when played right. Experiment with weapon combinations, spell effects and enchantments. A cleave with the right weapon can take fighters to around 30% hp. After that, if you can land your weakness/poison, and they won't really be able to do much to you. Experiment with your cause spells, especially cause critical. It represents a much more reliable means of delivering damage than hellfire against an opponent with good enchantments. The key is experimentation. Find out what works for you.

I would be careful in doing this. Having an "all-around" character is nice, but it won't be great. By all means, roll one and see what I mean. You will be able to PK a bit, but never that great....

Edit: Alshain, there is something buggy about the quote tags...They were correct, but still didn't show up as a quote. Only when I deleted them and created them anew did it work.

theres three ways of rolling a hellion.

Pure physical (aka the death dealer set up) - max hps, max con, str, and dex. Anything else put into cha, if you find yourself with any more, stick it in int. Get yourself a great axe and go to town with cleaving. I don't particularly recommend this route, but thats just not my playing style, im positive it can work great with the right eq set up.

The warlock route (my favorite) Max int, max art, max cha. Then stick your remaining stats between str and con.

With this method, you're going to want to remain second row. Try to have some players to order around and make tank for you. Use your maledictions to their most devastating advantage. A simple blindess spell can turn the tide of battle. You'll have three jobs in this mode, cleave, maledict, and intimidate.

Third route is the middle of the road hellion - balanced stats all the way around. As a newb, you will not be wanting to do this as you'll be needing stat mods for pretty much everything. I don't even think I would bother trying to do this as it just seems ineffective to me to play this way.

Intimidate - Yes, it is for certain based on your charisma. Also, you must be standing for it to work. (flying counts) If you are resting or sitting or sleeping, intimidate will not work. Yes it effects your whole group i.e. if someone tries to target a person in your group, you can intimidate them. I find this doesnt seem to happen as often as if they attacked you directly. Intimidate takes a very small amount of concentration but its is a very very meager amount so the death dealer hellion set up should have no worries about having low int.

That is how Seram was built. By evening out stats, I meant maxxing as many stats as you can, so you aren't so reliant on mods. Then again, this way may not be for most people, I don't know. Besides, in the end, it will be the person who knows how to utilize the class who is successful in pk, not necessarily the "best" built character.

The good players can do this, and finish it with mods. I assumed, because he is posting here for help he didn't know how to do that. But you are right in this...
