Last I checked, the ocean was made of water. Oh look, the water is Yed. You don't own yed achernar. Yed owns your face. They need sadal's luck to keep yed from squishing them like a bug between his bulging pectoral muscles.

Halerion's direction of the faith had little to do with the sea. *shrug* And he was HF for what? 6 months? No clue who leads now, possibly Severin still.


Mira is the Great Navigator and the God of sailors. Mira also takes the elements and gives them form, hence the sea, air, realms and everything else. Ask the storyteller if you like and he tell you :P
