Based on a true story:

Sitting around at a local cafe on campus, I was reading through one of my textbooks, studying for an upcoming quiz. After a while, this girl sits across from me, from the same class. We talk for a bit, and the subject turns to video games. She played WoW, and asked if I did. I said no, and explained SK to her. We compared characters, and she described something called a 'hunter'. Smiling and nodding, I said I played a priest, and turned to my book.

Then everything changed.

Wide-eyed, she reached across the table, and grabbed my hand. She looked at me very anxiously, and asked if I was serious. Confused, I said yes. She giggled with glee, and told a nearby friend of my endeavors. Returning to me, eyes sparkling, she asked what sort of robes my character wore... any ceremonies he took part in... this elusive "RP" she'd heard about. All the while, the story of my character spread through the cafe. Strangers came up and bought me drinks and sandwiches. Another guy even offered a spot in a Halo tourney I'd had my eye on for a while. After a great time, I left the cafe... hand in hand with the girl from my class. Long story short, now she and I live on a yacht out in the Atlantic where my team of trained divers fights wild sharks solely for my entertainment.

In summary, make a priest in SK, become world-famous.

Based on a true story, in that I did look at a textbook once

They have scrolls, so they -can- go ethereal and they -can- teleport.

Quit complaining about what the priest class doesn't have. It's not even necessary for them to have dodge because dodging isn't something that they're going to be doing a whole lot of.

Defense skills like these were mainly designed for melee and adventuring classes.

What do priests really need another "skill" designed for "combat situations" to avoid "melee damage" for? You don't need it. That's all there is to it. Priests aren't designed to tank like mercs.

Even jerin will tell you that. His priest was in no way able to tank damage as well as his mercenary did.

Just go with what you have. The class of priest is elite enough.

I agree with Arsilan on this one for all of the points that he said that I will not waste space re-iterating. Just think of it like this. If you convince some of your friends to play priests, and then you play a priest, then you won't have to worry about being the only rezz monkey about. To make a short point short.

Make a Marfikian Priest!

Giving them dodge will not make them better in pk, most priests don't have good dexterity and stay the hell away from first row.
And every other class has it... why not them?

And getting third attack with their current weapon skills would give them 3 attacks with maces and flails mostly, without enhanced damage, parry, disarm and other weapon skills that would not aid them much in pk either.
Unless they can find a decent exotic. Then again a priest can't be caught in the 1st row.

These little bonuses would make them better when adventuring solo.

Harm is the best damage spell in the game as well, all things considered.

If there were ever a reason to give someone an enlight because of what they posted on the boards, Othet deserves it.
