You give a pitcher to XXX.

As you can see, the now empty pitcher still remembers it had milk in it. We have very intelligent pitchers.

Question, how do you know for certain that the pitcher was empty? That log certainly does not show that it is either empty or full.

As long as a container is full it looks like:

a flask of water
a pitcher of milk
a flask of sweet-smelling drink
...etc.

Since he gave"a pitcher" to XXX it was empty.

When the container is empty it looks like:

a flask
a pitcher
a flask

Still though, if the object was created by a builder who enjoyed his work, some extra descs and keywords might apply to the container, that are otherwise not visible to the mortal eye.

Example:

a pitcher of milk (before changes)
a pitcher (empty after changes)
a pitcher of sweet-smelling drink (the same pitcher filled with nectar after change)

On the item though we could have Keywords : pitcher milk
So even if it contains nectar now, and since the change this affects how it looks, get pitcher, get milk, get nectar would all work.

This is not neccessarily a bug.

I wouldn't consider this a bug since the container isn't empty until you finish your drink. The echo shows what you are drinking and the container at the time. If it showed what you were drinking and an empty container I would think it was confusing.

Not a bug. A typo. Similar to books in that they needed changed over to a newer format, drink containers need to be adjusted so that their descriptions do not include the liquid in the container. It is not a huge issue, its just a drink container.

I thought Dulrik's new change to drink containers was intentional so that the containers -would- reflect what was inside of them.

It does reflect the changes, but it doesn't change the name of the item or parts of its descriptions. It does reflect it, but does not adjust the keywords or long description. The fact those things were a part of the description before didn't matter, but now, drink containers need a little adjustment.

In other words, keywords or descriptions about the contents of a drink container should no longer be hard-coded by the builder, because now the contents could be any liquid at all.

Containers and their contents are now showing up in reverse text which I assume is intentional. However, it is very hard to read. Is there any way to insure a sharp color contrast for all of them?
